My roommate has recently inspired me to begin keeping an account of joys of the week. I found this a great exercise to remind myself that God is in control of all things and there is always something to be joyful about!
These are from last week, since I have not made out this weeks yet. I hope for this to be a weekly blog so check back often!

  • I am saved by GRACE!
  • My home group has become like a second family to me. They support and encourage me all the while allowing me to be open and honest.
  • Being able to work out each day pain free.
  • Hilda's (my roommate) birthday!
  • I was accepted into Alpha Sigma Omega-an honor and leadership society at DBU.
  • Finally finishing a paper
  • Being poured into by one of the pastors at church. It's great having godly people speak truth into broken places in life.
  • God has given me an amazing support group and friends here in Dallas!
  • Hilda and I never seem to run out of things to talk about. Our late night talks are my favorite. We talk through the bunks about what God is doing in our lives, how we see Him working and even things we are struggling with. I'm privileged to have her as my roommate!
  • The weather was absolutely beautiful!
  • Celebrating the fact that Jesus died for my sins and is still alive!
