I've started writing this blog multiple times by now, but have deleted it all. Puerto Rico isn't really a place I ever thought I would end up, even for a short period of time. From the moment I stepped off of the plane I was in love with PR! There were many aspects of the culture that reminded me of Swaziland which made my heart happy. But it was also interesting to learn the history and to witness the Puerto Rican way of life. I took many pictures in the week I was there, but I wanted to share a few with you.

Hilda and I went for a walk on the beach not realizing the tide was coming in...good thing it was a nice warm day outside :)

On the beach!

Taking a drive down by the bay

Iguanas are awesome!

I'm definitely happy I was able to get away, even for a short time. Through different situations the Lord reminded me that I really don't have control and I have to trust Him in all situations.
