Over the past few weeks some of our girls have been scheming and planning on a "getaway" for the female leaders. A few evenings they worked into the night preparing "The Spa 4 U" for us. Oddly enough, I ended up at the apartment where this spa was to take place the evening before. The girls told me not to look and I ended up staying the night! They were so excited as the worked preparing for the next days activities, food and pampering. Saturday morning was an early one and soon enough other girls began arriving to finish with the final preparations.

Faith, Alene, Meghan, Alyssa, Sara, Leah and Johanna

The other leaders called up for the keys to the apartment and we dropped them down with even more excitement...the fun was about to begin. Seven of our ladies were all dressed in white tops and black pants and greeted us all with such professionalism. Fruit and vegetable trays along with appropriate dips and cheese and crackers were lying on the table. On the kitchen bar was french toast with personalized mugs and various breakfast drinks. Pretty in Pink was ready for us on the TV screen and the spa services for the day were posted for us.

Four stations were set up for haircuts, massages, facials and manicures and pedicures...sadly I could only choose two of the services. After much deliberation I finally decided on a facial and a massage. I came out of both feeling relaxed and recharged (and wishing this could be a weekly occurrence). It was such a glorious morning and the girls did so much for us to make us feel appreciated and loved.
